Body found in Oakville ravine near Mississauga border

A body was located in Oakville near the border of Mississauga on Tuesday afternoon (July 18).
Halton Regional Police are investigating after the body, reported to be that of a man, was found in a ravine by Clearview Creek, near Ford Dr. and Royal Windsor Dr.
“I can confirm that a body was discovered in that area by our officers yesterday afternoon,” said Halton police media relations officer Steve Elms. “Investigators are working to identify the body and the incident is still under investigation.”
Police said they are not able to provide any further details at this time.
