A restaurant located in one of historic downtown Milton’s most recognizable buildings has apparently closed for good.
Pretty Rad, a modern bar and restaurant located in the old post office building at 243 Main St. E. has been closed for several days. A series of posts on the bar’s Instagram account gave different reasons for the closure.
The first, about two weeks ago, said, “Unfortunately due to some unforeseen major inventory issues we will have to close today. We just can’t open with less than half of our menu. Thanks for the great weekend. Our sincerest apologies.”
The next post, a few days later, said Pretty Rad, “will be closed for the next few days for some renovations #exciting.”
The most recent, and final, post from about a week ago, said, “Quick update there’s a lot of things happening in the next little while, we will be making an announcement early next week. Sorry for any inconvenience as we will remain closed. Thank you all❤️❤️.”
According to commercial Realtor Neha Malik, the space occupied by Pretty Rad has gone back to the landlord, who will be looking for a new occupant.
A phone call to the phone number associated with the restaurant went to a voicemail box that is full.
Reviewers on Google had good things to say about the eatery, with a 4.5 rating on 315 reviews.
