Be a good neighbour and volunteer for massive spring cleanup in Milton

A massive spring cleanup in Milton is expected to bring together hundreds of volunteers to help keep the town looking its best.

Milton Good Neighbours Day is an organization that works with the Town with the common goal of making Milton a better place.

The annual event brings together volunteers to help to clean up parks, town sites, and areas across the town.

This year’s event is Saturday, April 27, at 8 a.m. at Milton Town Hall, 150 Mary St. where people will be assigned their clean-up sites and receive supplies for the day, including a limited number of Milton Good Neighbours t-shirts.

Some morning snacks will be available as well.

Individuals, families, schools and organizations are invited to participate. In addition, volunteering hours can be used by high school students to count towards community service commitment.
