A call has gone out for local artists, cultural professionals and creative organizations to host free, interactive in-person or online events and activities during the 14th annual Culture Days in Burlington.

Culture Days will take place from Sept. 22 to Oct. 15 this year.

Those interested can register for their event online with Culture Days at culturedays.ca.

Culture Days have become one of the largest cultural events in Canada, attracting an estimated 2.5 million annual attendees to thousands of free activities and performances hosted by artists, cultural organizations and municipalities in hundreds of communities across Canada.

“Burlington is delighted to participate in this national initiative once again,” said Angela Paparizo, Manager, Arts and Culture for the City of Burlington. “It’s so important that we continue to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of residents in arts and culture. I invite our local artists, cultural professionals and creative organizations to offer free events this year and consider participating in Burlington’s Culture Days.

For more information about participating in Culture Days, contact Adam Belovari at 905-335-7600, ext. 7335 or [email protected] by Sept. 5.
