An arrest has been made in connection with several Burlington store break-ins where, in some cases, ATMs were targeted.

An arrest has been made in connection with several Burlington store break-ins where, in some cases, ATMs were targeted.

The month-long investigation found that in many cases two people were involved when the ATMs were forced opened and cash was taken.

After executing a search warrant at a Burlington home on October 2 Halton Regional Police arrested one man.

John Bailey, 48, is charged with seven counts of breaking and entering. He is also charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking as well as failing to comply with a probation order.

Investigators from 3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are still searching for another suspect in this case.
