Armed men break down front door of occupied Oakville house

Halton police are investigating another home invasion robbery in Oakville.

Around 1:40 a.m. today (Jan. 17) police say three men broke into a home on Grouse Lane, near Third Line and Dundas St., by forcing down the locked front door. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

When confronted by a resident of the home, the suspects made demands for valuables and forced their way into the primary bedroom of the house.

After obtaining some items, including cash, the suspects fled the scene in a dark coloured SUV. The residents did not suffer physical injuries as a result of the incident.

The suspects were only described as three males wearing dark clothing and disguises.

Investigators are appealing to the public for any dash cam footage near the intersection of Third Line and Westoak Trails Boulevard between 1 and 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
