Halton Regional Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two women alleged to be involved in separate incidents of theft at Oakville retail stores.

Items valued at $4,830 were stolen from a retail clothing store on Aug. 1, police said. A female suspect (pictured above) entered the Lululemon store at 291 Lakeshore Rd. around 6:45 p.m. and grabbed 35 pairs of leggings. She then left the store without paying.

The woman is described as being white, 30-to-40 years old, with dark hair and a short/squat build. She was wearing a maroon scarf, and a billowing, black dress used to conceal property.

In another case of retail theft in Oakville, four bottles of alcohol were taken from an LCBO store earlier this month.

Police say a woman walked into a liquor store at 251 Oak Walk Dr. at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 8, picked up four bottles of Grey Goose vodka worth $207.80 and left the store without paying.

The female (pictured below) is described as white, 60-to-75 years old, with a large build. She was wearing a black jacket, green shirt, scarf, and black sandals, and was carrying a large, black purse.
