A new auto store opening next summer in Burlington

Those who love to work on their cars will have a new place to get their tools and auto parts.

Princess Auto Store is opening a new store in Burlington in the summer of 2025.

The Canadian retailer is a favourite for those who like to “work with their hands.”

“Princess Auto customers are built differently: they may not dress fancy and might have grease on their hands, but they are part of the lifeblood of Canada that literally keeps our country running,” says Mike Kivell, Princess Auto’s Vice-President of Retail Operations for Ontario.

“There is probably a group of hard-working Canadians who are excited about having a Princess Auto location closer to home, but the truth is, we’re just as pumped to be here,” he said.

The privately owned company employs over 3,400 employees in 50 stores across Canada and has a National Call Centre and an online shopping site.

“This Burlington location will allow us to better serve customers who live in the growing market in southern Ontario,” Kivell said.

Princess Auto sells everything from automotive repair and shop tools to safety, metal fabrication, seasonal, outdoor, truck, and trailer parts.

The company maintains that no sale is final until the customer is satisfied.

“Opening our 21st store in Ontario is an amazing milestone that’s been many years in the making,” Kivell said. “We are excited to see the culmination of years of hard work pay off when we open in Burlington.”
