Brock University is almost moved into its new satellite Burlington campus in anticipation of the upcoming school year.
Faculty will be working out of the former Lester B. Pearson High School at 1433 Headon Rd. for the next two school years and will be home to the teacher education programs.
According to the university, the equipment has already been moved to Headon Rd. while staff will be transitioning into the facility during the rest of this month. Previously the teacher education programs were located in Hamilton.
The Headon site will be a temporary home as Brock intends to move the campus into a permanent Burlington location at the community centre and hub that is being converted out of the old Robert Bateman High School at 5151 New St.
The main campus for the teacher education programs is still located in St. Catharines.
