5 most affordable homes that just sold in Oakville, Burlington and Milton

In October, home prices fell in Oakville and Milton and rose in Burlington as the entire Halton region experienced a slowdown in activity that resulted in more inventory hitting the market. 

While buyers are in a better position now, houses in the region are still more expensive than the Canadian average. In October, the average house price in Burlington climbed to $1,140,816 and in Milton, it dropped slightly to $1,036,226. 

In Oakville, the average price dropped 10 per cent to $1,395,752. 

But while the average price is still over $1 million, here are some Burlington and Milton homes that recently changed hands in November for less, courtesy of Zoocasa:


713 – 1050 Main St. E. in Milton

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo in Milton sold for $540,000 after being listed for $545,000. Spanning more than 600 square feet, the corner unit offers an elegant, upgraded interior, large windows and views of the escarpment.
