40th annual strawberry fair in support of Milton District Hospital returning this summer

After having been put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 40th annual Strawberry Fair in support of Milton District Hospital (MDH) will be returning this summer.
For the first time since 2019, the sale, which is being organized by MDH Auxiliary Volunteers, will take place at the Milton Fairgrounds, located at 136 Robert St. on Saturday, June. 25.
The event will be in partnership with the Milton Chamber of Commerce and as a result, both the Milton Farmers’ Market and the fair will run at the same time.
The Farmers’ Market will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. while the Strawberry Fair will kick off at 8:00 a.m. and run through to 4:00 p.m.
The Strawberry Fair will feature a tent with cake, ice cream, fresh strawberries and slushies, a strawberry pancake breakfast and BBQ lunch, live entertainment, a vendor marketplace, a children’s area and more.
Admission to the event is free and donations are welcome.
