Oakville Town Hall will be lit up in rainbow of colours this month

Oakville’s Town Hall will be lit up with several different colours during September to highlight special events.

The exterior of the building has multi-colour LED lights that can be used to display the official colours associated with a charitable or non-profit organization or a town event, in order to create awareness of, or celebrate, an organization or town event.

Here’s the schedule for the rest of this month:

• Sept. 9: Red for FASD Awareness Day
• Sept. 13: Pink for World Sepsis Day
• Sept. 16: Blue, yellow and red for National Coaches Week
• Sept. 21: Green for World Mitochondrial Disease Week
• Sept. 26 to 30: Orange for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

When there are no recognition events scheduled, the default lighting is set to Oakville blue.
