Major part of Milton was without power for two hours

A large portion of rural Milton was without power for two hours this morning, Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Beginning at 8 a.m., neighbourhoods including Omagh, Drumquin, Agerton and portions of Beatty suffered a blackout.

Milton Hydro had power restored at 10 a.m.

There is no known cause for the outage, which affected about 1,000 customers, and Milton Hydro is currently investigating.
