Drivers warned to avoid fresh paint on roads beginning tonight in Milton

The Town of Milton is strongly suggesting local drivers take care if they see municipal workers painting road lines.

The annual effort to repaint begins tonight (July 25).

“We repaint all of our urban and rural roads, bike lanes and pedestrian crosswalks each spring, and Halton Region maintains all regional roads,” said a Town spokesperson.

“Please note, paint trucks often drive slower than the speed limit. You should try to avoid passing them as road paint can stick to your vehicle, which can be very difficult to remove.”
